our story
how emble began
and why it exists today
our story
Emble was built with a clear intention:
To create a service where individuals and families could access connected, multidisciplinary support in one place without needing to navigate multiple providers or repeat their story over and over again.
From the beginning, the focus was on:
- collaboration across disciplines
- working within scope, while understanding the whole person
- embedding support into everyday life
- creating a service that feels supportive, not overwhelming
Emble Allied Health was founded by Talia Pulis in 2020, beginning as a sole Speech Pathology service delivering mobile therapy to children and families.
growing into a multidisciplinary team
What began as a sole practitioner service quickly grew into a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
Today, Emble brings together clinicians across a range of disciplines, all working under one roof with a shared approach and philosophy.
Each clinician brings their own expertise, while also working collaboratively to support:
- communication
- movement and motor development
- emotional wellbeing
- participation in everyday life
responding to real gaps
As Emble grew, so did the understanding that therapy alone wasn’t always enough.
There were clear gaps in:
- accessible, inclusive group programs
- opportunities for real-world skill development
- supports that extended beyond traditional therapy models
This led to the development of Emble’s group programs and evolving service streams – designed to create meaningful opportunities for connection, participation and development.
looking ahead
Emble continues to evolve in response to the needs of the community it serves.
The vision remains the same:
To create a service that is collaborative, responsive and grounded in real-life outcomes – supporting children, teenagers, young people and families in ways that feel meaningful, achievable and connected.
